What is a DALI dimmable downlight?
A DALI dimmable downlight uses compatible DALI control gear so it can receive digital lighting-control commands. The driver, wiring, addressing and commissioning method must match the project control system.
Is DALI dimming the same as DALI emergency?
No. Normal DALI dimming controls the light output during normal operation. DALI emergency uses dedicated emergency control gear for testing, status queries and emergency operation.
Can DALI downlights also include emergency conversion?
Selected product ranges publish both normal DALI control and emergency variations. They remain separate option decisions and must be confirmed against the product information.
