Compact recessed IP54 low-glare downlight with published DALI control and emergency options for commercial interiors.
Lumenloop manufactures commercial LED downlights with published DALI control options across recessed, adjustable, low-glare and wall-wash product families. Select the DALI driver and fixture alongside the ceiling format, lumen output, wattage, beam angle, CCT and any separate emergency requirement for the individual product range.
Compare the recessed, adjustable and wall-wash formats by IP rating, cut-out, lumen output, wattage, beam angle, baffle or reflector and CCT before checking the model code and option suffix for quotation. Use the individual product page and datasheet for the final selection: a recessed downlight can suit a clean ceiling finish, an adjustable LED downlight can aim light onto shelving or circulation routes, and an asymmetric wall washer can support vertical-surface lighting. For a project specifying DALI dimmable CCT LED downlights, confirm whether 3000K, 4000K, warm white or another setting is supplied. Do not assume that a DALI option, emergency variant or Casambi option applies to every fixture; confirm the suffix for the selected product before ordering.

DALI, the digital addressable lighting interface, is a digital lighting-control protocol. The selected LED downlight and fixture need compatible DALI control gear and driver, coordinated with the project wiring and commissioning arrangement. DALI drivers provide the interface between the lighting-control system and the LED fixture, so choose a DALI-compatible downlight and driver together. On a commercial lighting scheme, DALI is the light-control layer rather than a substitute for optical design; when it is specified and commissioned correctly, it can support smooth dimming and consistent light quality. Confirm the driver, wiring, addressing and commissioning arrangement together, because the same product family can have different control suffixes. For refurbishment work, check existing ceiling openings and control wiring before selecting a replacement. This keeps DALI dimming, lumen output, beam angle and emergency lighting as separate specification decisions.
The DALI option is selected with the downlight range rather than added as a generic site accessory.
Individual or grouped light control is established during the DALI system design and commissioning process.
Dimming does not replace optical selection. Lumen output, wattage, reflector or baffle, beam angle and ceiling position still define the lit result.
Normal DALI dimming and DALI emergency use different control gear and product suffixes, even where both are available on one luminaire family.
Addressable dimming can support separately controlled rooms, display zones, reception areas, meeting spaces and hospitality scenes within commercial lighting systems where the chosen downlight and driver are compatible. Precise digital dimming can help a lighting designer coordinate general, display and feature lighting. Specify the output, optic, ceiling position and control arrangement together to keep the lighting design aligned with the space.
Meeting rooms, reception and circulation areas using grouped or addressable lighting control.
Downlights and wall washers coordinated with display, window and sales-floor lighting groups.
Reception, restaurant, bar and shared spaces where dimming scenes form part of the controls requirement.
Existing wiring, control topology and ceiling openings are checked before selecting the DALI downlight range.
A DALI dimmable downlight uses compatible DALI control gear so it can receive digital lighting-control commands. DALI is compatible with an LED fixture when the driver supports the protocol; the driver, wiring, addressing and commissioning method must match the project control system.
No. Normal DALI dimming controls the light output during normal operation. DALI emergency uses dedicated emergency control gear for testing, status queries and emergency operation.
Selected product ranges publish both normal DALI control and emergency variations. They remain separate option decisions and must be confirmed against the product information.
They can be addressed individually or grouped during the DALI system design and commissioning process, provided the selected downlight and driver are compatible with the project control arrangement.
