Technical description
Protected linear light. Precise project choice.
Aegis is an IP65 vapour-proof LED batten for commercial and industrial projects requiring reliable dust, moisture and impact protection without reducing output choice or control flexibility.
IP65 and IK08 construction
The Gen 2 fitting uses an injection-moulded polycarbonate body with a micro-prismatic V0 diffuser. IP65 protection supports dusty, wet and wash-down-prone commercial environments, while IK08 addresses impact resistance in exposed service areas.
Aegis is available for surface, suspended and wall-mounted installation. A 2 m suspension kit, corner mounting kit and anti-tamper kit extend the same family across different building conditions.
4 ft and 5 ft output range
Eight 4000K model codes span 3675 to 9250 lumens. Four 4 ft models run from 23 W to 40.5 W, while four 5 ft models run from 33 W to 59 W.
Published luminaire efficacy reaches 161 lm/W. The Ra80, 3 SDCM LED platform uses Tridonic power and is rated above 50,000 hours to L70.
Controls, sensors and emergency
The /ECO suffix covers SwitchDIM, DALI, DALI Data or DSI. Casambi wireless dimming uses /BTC and remains a separate control-gear selection.
PIR on/off and PIR dimming use /SO and /SD respectively. Emergency /EMI and DALI emergency /EMDI are selected separately so the normal control method and emergency arrangement remain clear in the fitting code.
