Adjustable LED track spotlight
Capsule is an adjustable track spotlight for gallery, retail and display lighting, with six published models covering 3,200–4,675 lm.
High colour rendering
Ra90 LED track spotlight covering 1,150–3,725 lm, with published 3000K and 4000K models and 25°, 40° or 60° reflector routes.
Optical specification
Beam angle affects the illuminated area, contrast and flexibility of the final aiming. Prisma has three published reflector options; Capsule uses a 40° standard reflector.
25°
Use the Prisma 25° reflector as the starting point when the brief calls for a tighter pool of light on a smaller display area. Confirm track position, mounting height and the required illuminated area before fixing the reflector selection.

40°
A 40° reflector provides the common optical route across the two families. It is the standard Capsule reflector and a published Prisma option, allowing output and colour rendering to be considered alongside beam width.

60°
Use the Prisma 60° reflector as the starting point for a broader illuminated area or a more open wash across a display. Check the resulting intensity and spill against adjacent exhibits before the layout is signed off.

Final quantities, spacing, beam selection and aiming positions should be checked by lighting calculation against the actual track layout, display dimensions, finishes and ambient conditions.
Colour and appearance
Colour rendering and colour temperature should be specified together. The choice affects how artwork, display materials, wall finishes and the surrounding space are perceived.
Prisma is published with Ra90 colour rendering, making it the documented starting family where faithful colour appearance is central to the brief. The final model, reflector and output still need to be selected for the size and position of the display.
Capsule and Prisma are both published in 3000K and 4000K. Specify one colour temperature across the relevant track runs unless the design intentionally separates display zones. Review samples where the appearance of pigments, textiles or finishes is especially sensitive.
Capsule covers a published 3,200–4,675 lm range, while Prisma covers 1,150–3,725 lm. Output should be chosen from the required light level, beam angle, mounting distance and any project-specific conservation criteria—not from lumen output alone.
Track and controls
The luminaire, driver, adapter and installed track must be treated as one specification. A product family should not be assumed compatible from the adapter appearance alone.
Prisma has a published DALI option. Confirm the DALI driver, adapter arrangement, addressing strategy and control-system requirements before ordering. Capsule is not presented here as a DALI family because that option is not supported by the current page evidence.
Capsule publishes 355° swivel and 320° tilt. Prisma is also adjustable, but the final aiming range should be confirmed for the selected model and adapter. Keep sufficient clearance around the fitting so adjustment is not obstructed by the track position or nearby services.
Identify the track manufacturer and system before selecting the adapter. For refurbishment projects, photographs and the existing track reference help establish whether the system can be retained or needs further investigation.

The appropriate fitting depends on the required output, beam angle, colour rendering, mounting position and control system. Prisma provides Ra90 and three published reflector angles; Capsule provides a higher published output range.
High colour rendering is normally specified where the accurate appearance of artwork, materials and finishes is important. Prisma is published with Ra90 colour rendering.
Narrower beams concentrate light on smaller subjects or from longer distances; wider beams cover larger display areas. Prisma offers published 25°, 40° and 60° reflector options.
