An emergency panel still has to perform as the everyday luminaire. Normal-lighting output, glare control and ceiling compatibility should be resolved alongside the emergency duration, operating mode and test arrangement.
For a refurbishment, identify the existing ceiling module and cut-out before selecting a replacement. A nominal 600 x 600 panel may sit in an exposed T-grid, a plasterboard frame or a specialist ceiling system, and each mounting condition needs the correct accessory or installation method.
